New York Coronavirus Curve Flattening But UW Deaths Forecast Rises from 10K to Over 15K

The University of Washington has updated its COVID-19 projections for all states and for the United States. Total COVID-19 deaths projected to August 4, 2020 in United States of America is now 83,967 deaths. Three days ago the primary projection for the USA was 82000 deaths. New York’s forecast has gotten worse and Washington IHME is forecasting over 15,788 deaths which up a lot from the previous forecast of 10,240 deaths. California’s forecast is improving. Europe and USA Have Similar

The USA and Europe have a similar scale situation with cases of Coronavirus COVID-19 per million people. The US had about 20,000 new cases. Europe collectively has more new cases and more deaths. Europe has nearly double the US population. Europe has about 400,000 cases and nearly 30,000 deaths. TheUSA has 164,000 cases and 3148 deaths. The situations are similar in terms of a disease with exponential spread and growth. The cases per million people are very close. Europe has more deaths but Europe has an older population. SpaceX Dragon XL Will Supply 5 Tons to the NASA Lunar Gateway

NASA has selected SpaceX as the first U.S. commercial provider under the Gateway Logistics Services contract to deliver cargo, experiments and other supplies to the agency’s Gateway in lunar orbit. The NASA announcement also revealed a larger version of the SpaceX manned Dragon capsule, Dragon XL. The SpaceX Dragon XL appears to be bigger than the Dragon Capsule. The extra size may just for the fuel and engines to reach the needed lunar orbit for the Gateway. Steve Jurvetson, billionaire Venture Capitalist and SpaceX investor, says SpaceX Dragon XL will supply 5 tons to the lunar gateway or the moon.
