Star Wars Visions offered us a different look at all parts of the galaxy, but the next anthology series is going a different route by narrowing its focus to one specific group of people. That’s right, we’re going back to the Jedi . Tales of the Jedi was revealed officially at Star Wars Celebration on Saturday, which will be a new animated series offering us a look at different Jedi from various points in the religious order’s tumultuous history. One element of that is Andor ’s score, composed by Nicholas Britell (Succession) . From the chilling ringing of bells rhythmically rooting its story origins, to the propulsive beats that backdrop our first glimpses at the show’s characters on their missions, an urgency builds on sound alone crescendoing into an orchestral call for rebellion. In an interview with Variety , the composer gave some insight into creating the unique sounds previewed in the first look, which arrived as part of this week’s Star Wars Celebration . Famously debuting as Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the character slowly came into her own over the course of the show’s eventual seven-season run , serving as its ostensible protagonist. After being a recurring character in sister series Rebels, and again voiced by her original actor Ashley Eckstein, she made the jump over to live action with The Mandalorian’s second season . To expand his profile even further, DC bringing him over to the YA audience. DC has just announced Static: Up All Night, a graphic novel by writer Lamar Giles and artist Paris Alleyne. After Virgil (aka Static) goes through a bad breakup, his best friend Richie Foley—aka Gear, from the old cartoon—decides to help him by taking him to a music festival in Dakota. But like the YA story it is, his ex also happens to be at the music festival, and that’s only the start of his troubled night. Now we have more details, including a title— Star Wars: Skeleton Crew —and its headlining star: Jude Law . As reported today from Anaheim, California, by the io9 team attending Star Wars Celebration, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will be about a seeing the galaxy far, far, away from a new point of view, through the eyes of children—but, important distinction, it is not a kids’ show, even though it stars kids. The story will follow a group of children around 10 years old from a small planet who get lost in the galaxy and are trying to find their way home. Watts explained to the crowd that the series will take place during the same time period as The Mandalorian and the upcoming Ahsoka series. Image: Disney+ Season three of The Mandalorian , starring Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, has been in the works for awhile, and after an incredible reveal at the end of season two and some cameo appearances in The Book of Boba Fett , we’re finally getting a few hints at what to expect from the newest season of the  Emmy award-winning Star Wars show. Unfortunately, it wasn’t much—just that season three exists, it’ll premiere next February, and that Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan will be returning. This almost certainly means more Mandalore shenanigans, as last time we saw Bo-Katan she was decidedly unhappy that Din Dijarin had won her ancestral weapon, the Darksaber, that would have legitimized her claim as the ruler of the planet.
